On Saturday, November 26, 2011, the TFS community came together for Carrousel des Nations, the school’s flagship event that celebrates and recognizes the unique diversity of our students and our community.
The Senior School gym was transformed into a colourful world of flags. Guests sampled delicious food from around the world, bid on an array of exciting trips and fine wine at the Silent Auction, and enjoyed a wonderful presentation of song, dance, drama and gymnastics by some of our talented students from SK all the way to Level V.
We are thrilled to announce that this family-friendly fundraising event raised approximately $140,000. Coupled with the $100,000 matching gift from the Riley Family and their Riley Family Foundation, our total raised is $240,000 to support our goal of making TFS a model of environmental sustainability and curriculum innovation.
From our student performers, parent and staff volunteers, sponsors & donors, and everyone who came out that evening, support for Carrousel des Nations has been widespread, generous and integral to the success of this wonderful evening. Un grand merci pour votre inspiration et votre générosité!
